Let them go!

Have you ever come across the “Let Them” theory?  Of late, I have been through some heartache and pain, and I also came across lots of people who are confused at the crossroads of life and ministry. The journey of life and the road of ministry is not fair and easy going. We carry disappointments and discouragement, disillusionment and despair, betrayal and backstabbing, sometimes from those who we thought were near and dear. Bitterness and malice is the natural result of unforgiveness and resentment. Unforgiveness is drinking poison expecting the other person to die! 😆  "Let them go!" is a wonderful principle to follow when you are broken hearted, feeling cheated and hurt. Here are a few related quotes: Let them talk. Let them twist the story. Let them build their false reality. Your truth doesn’t need defense—it shines through results. While they waste energy on lies, you’ll be busy living a life they can only gossip about. 🌿✨ Ignore false narratives, avoid toxic people, f...

Wanted: Men of Integrity! 😉

God give us men! A time like this demands     Strong minds, great hearts, true faith, and ready hands;     Men whom the lust of office does not kill;       Men whom the spoils of office cannot buy;     Men who possess opinions and a will;       Men who have honor; men who will not lie.     Men who can stand before a demagogue       And damn his treacherous flatteries without winking;     Tall men, sun-crowned, who live above the fog       In public duty and in private thinking;     For while the rabble, with their thumb-worn creeds,     Their large professions and their little deeds,     Mingle in selfish strife, lo! Freedom weeps,     Wrong rules the land, and waiting Justice sleeps. - Josiah Gilbert Holland Fast forward ⏩ to April 2025...  So was it a case of blatant racism or was it religious persecution in modern day Britain...

7 Random Thoughts after a Historic National Conference.

Seven Random Thoughts After a Historic National Conference of the Malayalee Pentecostal Association (MPA) in the U.K. 📅 21st April 2025 Today is the day after… • …the day after Easter Sunday. • Easter Monday is normally a holiday here in Great Britain. • …the day after… a time of rest, relaxation, and yes even some reflection. • …the day after an amazing three days of repentance, revival, refreshing, and restoration in the presence of God by the Body of Christ — represented interdenominationaly and nationally by Keralites from God’s own country.  It’s 4 a.m. in Bristol. What a place! The venue — Trinity Academy — was the perfect choice for a conference of this magnitude. Simply brilliant! Thanks to my dear friend and brother, Pastor Jinu Mathew  and his outstanding team of volunteers from the Horeb AoG Church that made the conference look like easy peasy. Everything planned for, every eventuality taken into consideration. Service-oriented and people-friendly bunch of se...

Test of Journalistic Integrity!

It is an accepted fact of nature that the sharks feed off the blood, and kill whatever is left of anything else dead in an ocean. In fact, the smell of blood attracts them and soon a school of sharks feed off the carcasses of a dead sea creature, and often humans who accidentally die in the deep sea. It was this picture that came to my mind as I was thinking about modern day investigative journalism who claims to do a favor for Christianity today. They amplify their mostly unfounded claims and prejudiced opinions on social media handles for maximum publicity and traction, and the Internet has a field day before any clarification or justification takes place. The damage is done and the ministry collapses like a pack of cards. It always takes two hands to clap, 👏 or make a noise. There's always three sides to every story. Your version, my version, and the truth as God sees and judges from heaven. Usually it's his version, her version, and then the filtered perspective of a bia...

Fund raising or Friend raising?

Here's my honest thoughts on "Fundraising" in modern missions. Leave a comment please. 1. God's work done God's way will never lack God's supply! That is true today as well. 2. If it's God's will, it's God's bill. Don't try that line after you eat a buffet in a restaurant! 3. Where God guides, He provides. He does. 4. With the vision comes the provision. 5. Fundraising is friend raising! Try it. 6. God doesn't need millionaires and billionaires to fund His work. He may use them once in a while, but He still prefers the widow's mite! 7. Holy begging is biblical. Do it even if it's embarrassing. Apostle Paul did it too. Pakistani and Nigerian friends are experts in this business! IMO 8. Manipulation, Bootlicking and flattering is not God's style and so it must never be pursued. 9. Command the rich to give. Never beg. 10. People are blessed by God only to become a blessing. They missed it if they didn't get that! 11. "...

Missionary Musings!

My wifey thinks that I have the acumen and aptitude, experience and expertise, to be a Theological Professor someday. My only qualifications are the heart of a child, the mind of a scholar, and the skin of a rhinoceros! I only know that I Passed highschool (with) Difficulty, and I have Permanent head Damage! Two PhD's are good enough for me! I am now pursuing a PhD programme in Fuller Theological Seminary, USA in Global Leadership, simply to honour the last words and wishes of one of my mentors and my father in law, a dear servant of God, on his deathbed. And yet... Me thinks...I sometimes wished that God also made me white (with melanin deficiency!) instead of brown skin! Seven years of job hunting in the UK, hundreds of emails and interviews, and spending 35,000 pounds hasn't helped! I recently changed my name to Alec (Scottish Gaelic for Alex) because most people misspelt my name as Niel instead of ANIL. Whattaworld! "You smell like Curry!" was the racist jibe by...

Spectacular Scotland. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

SPECTACULAR SCOTLAND is a "Nation for the Nations"; "The LAND of the BOOK"; rated one of the most beautiful nations in the world, along with Switzerland and New Zealand. Well, my own journey from Western India to Western Europe as a Christian Missionary is a fascinating story. I am a Malayali by birth, Indian by race, In Christ by grace, In Global Missions by choice, and in Scotland by chance! Actually, in hindsight it looks like Divine Providence. It cannot be a coincidence or happenstance. I don't believe in fate or luck, but in a God who has a Master Plan and a unique blueprint for every one of us. My times are in His hands. Maybe, it's payback time! My Scottish heroes include the likes of John Knox, Samuel Rutherford, Robert Murray McCheyne, David Livingstone and Eric Liddel. Many have not even heard of Claudius Buchanan, the Scot who contributed to the Bible in my mother tongue MalayalaM (now read it backwards!) Many left the shores of Great Britain an...
